Godly Encouragement for Daily Living

A PROMISE

For you, brethren,
have been called to liberty;
only do not use liberty
as an opportunity for the flesh,
but through love serve one another.
For all the law is fulfilled in one word,
even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Galatians 5:13–14

A Prayer

Heavenly Father…
Thank You for adopting me into Your family.
Thank You for saving me from the bondage of sin.
Thank You for delivering me from the demands of the law.
Thank You for setting me free to serve You and others.
Thank You for introducing me to grace-filled liberty.
Thank You for teaching me not to use my liberty selfishly.
Thank You for revealing to me the godly call to love others.
Thank You for all the unconditional love
that You have bestowed upon me.
And thank You for Your patience…
as I try to love others, just like You have loved me.
In Jesus Name. Amen.
