The world is nearing the days of perhaps the greatest military battles in human history. The complexities of life are weighing very heavily in the hearts and homes, on the college campus and in the work place. Will your spiritual decisions receive the utmost priority?

The Isms Will Be Exposed

I believe the greatest decision anyone can make is a personal response to the love, grace and mercy of God. Many are praying for their family and friends to awaken spiritually to the words of truth revealed in the Holy Scriptures.

“I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, My counsel shall stand, I am the LORD of hosts, I am the First and I am the Last; besides Me there is no God.”

Soon the days of promoting every religious “ism” and the doctrine of humanism will be exposed by the light and glory of divine truth. The next time that God will publicly intervene in the affairs of man is recorded in the book of Revelation:

“Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him…I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Consider how the written words of King David can bring humility over the human soul:

“O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth, who set Your glory above the heavens! When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him?”

Man’s Thinking vs. God’s Wisdom

I am told, that if you traveled on a beam of light at 186,000 miles per second, you could: circle the earth 7 times in one second, travel past the moon in less that 2 seconds and pass the sun in less than 8 minutes. Then it would take nearly five years to reach the nearest star and around 10,000 years to cross the width of our Milky Way Galaxy. It has been reported that the universe contains billions of galaxies. What is man, that the eternal God and creator is mindful of him?

The creation holds man accountable to God. For since the creation of the world, God’s invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that the human race is without excuse.

The rooted problems in life are found in the rebellious nature of man. The evidence of God exists, yet many will not glorify Him as God. Instead of being thankful, a God rejecting person becomes futile in their thinking. Then the following tragedy happens: their foolish hearts become darkened and professing to be wise they became fools. Only a fool says in his heart “there is no God.” The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.

Consider these final words from Jeremiah 29:11–13:

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
