Revelation 3:22: He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

Jesus and His Word

This is a special message from the Lord Jesus to all the churches for which you need the blood–tipped ear to hear. This is the reason that you and I must be very careful in our study of the Word of God, that we not run ahead of the Spirit of God, but that we let Him be our teacher. If you have a blood–tipped ear, He wants you to hear what He has to say. Only the Spirit of God can make the Word of God real to you. 1

Jesus and His Ways

My son, if you receive my words, and treasure my commands within you, so that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. Proverbs 2:1–5

Jesus, may You be my only treasure. May nothing that this worlds has to offer, have any appeal to me. I want to hear from You, and seek Your will, and obey Your ways. May I study Your word and understand Your ways. May I follow after You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. May I have a holy fear for You. May my repenting ears be dipped in the purifying blood of Your saving grace. I just want to hear Your voice and surrender my will for Your glory.

Jesus and His Work

I can hear the voice of my Shepherd, when my ears have been purified by the Lamb of God. – TWEET IT

Jesus and His Promise

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. John 10:27–28
