Godly Encouragement for Daily Living

A PROMISE

He comforts us
in all our tribulation,
that we may be able to comfort those
who are in any trouble,
with the comfort with which we ourselves
are comforted by God.
2 Corinthians 1:4

A Prayer

Heavenly Father…
Thank You for comforting me.
There was no where else to go.
There was no one else to turn to.
No one else understood what I was feeling.
I could not really express all my emotions and sorrow.
But You knew me.
You knew everything about me.
You knew all about my unspoken sadness.
In my trials, troubles and tribulations…
…You reached out to me with Your unconditional love.
You comforted me. You healed my heart. You gave me hope.
Your comforting love is contagious.
You ministered to me. Now I can minister to others.
In Jesus Name. Amen.
