Godly Encouragement for Daily Living

A PROMISE

For you were once darkness,
but now you are light in the Lord.
Walk as children of light
(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness,
righteousness, and truth),
finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.
Ephesians 5:8–10

A Prayer

Heavenly Father…
Thank You for Your deliverance.
You removed me out of the darkness.
I once was a citizen of worldliness and sinfulness.
But You transferred me into Your marvelous light.
You saved me from sin and death.
Now I have a new citizenship.
I am a citizen of heaven.
Your light has dispelled the darkness.
Teach me to stay in the light.
Teach me to walk in the light.
This is my prayer…Dear Lord…
Please produce the fruit of the Spirit in my life.
May I do the things that are acceptable in Your sight.
In Jesus Name. Amen.
