Godly Encouragement for Daily Living

A PROMISE

Let no corrupt word
proceed out of your mouth,
but what is good
for necessary edification,
that it may impart grace to the hearers.
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God,
by whom you were sealed
for the day of redemption.
Ephesians 4:29–30

A Prayer

Heavenly Father…
Thank You for teaching me…
…how to live out my faith.
My words do matter.
Please help me to measure my speech.
Guard me from saying unnecessary words.
Help me to use grace-filled words…
…to build up others.
May I learn more about the joy of imparting grace.
May I always pleasing to the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
Thank you for sealing me with Your Holy Spirit.
I greatly anticipate that glorious day of my redemption.
In Jesus Name. Amen.
