FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 12:1a: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

Before we trusted Christ, we used our body for sinful pleasures and purposes, but now that we belong to Him, we want to use our body for His glory. The Christian’s body is God’s temple because the Spirit of God dwells within him. It is our privilege to glorify Christ in our body. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:19–20

We now are under new management. We have a new resident living within. It is the Holy Spirit of God. He considers us His temple. He dwells within us. Therefore we should live joyfully under His authority. Have you yielded the throne of your heart completely to Him? Are you willfully surrendering to His lordship over your life?

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

What I thought was once all mine, now actually belongs to Him; He paid the ultimate price for my freedom. – TWEET IT

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

According to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Philippians 1:20–21

Dear Father, my desire is to live for You. Please use my life for Your purposes. Amen.
