Revelation 3:20c: Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Jesus and His Word

When we invite Him in, the supper room becomes a throne room! It is through communion with Christ that we find victory and become overcomers. 1

Jesus and His Ways

Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14–16

Jesus, thank You for inviting me to have intimate fellowship with You. You know everything about me, and yet You still love me and bid me to come even closer to Yourself. You have prepared a table of grace. A place where all the pain and sorrow is lifted. A place where mercy and truth meet, and where my soul is greatly comforted. I chose to open the door and come boldly to Your throne of grace and dine with You.

Jesus and His Promise

Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.” And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. John 6:34–35
