Mark 5:11–14: Now a large herd of swine was feeding there near the mountains. So all the demons begged Him, saying, “Send us to the swine, that we may enter them.”
And at once Jesus gave them permission. Then the unclean spirits went out and entered the swine (there were about two thousand); and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and drowned in the sea. So those who fed the swine fled, and they told it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that had happened.

There is no reason for any believer to be afraid of demons or to adopt some superstition or spooky notion concerning them. If you feel that you are bothered with them, then just ask the Lord Jesus to deliver you. They have been cast out in His name, and it is a lack of faith in the Lord Jesus to walk in fear of them today. If you feel that they can control you in any way, or possess you, or direct you, then you may need counseling. Remember that the Lord Jesus Christ has power over demons. 1

Your Word is Truth

When was the last time you experienced His supernatural power in a very personal way? Is it time to ask Him for help over the mountain in front of you?

As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. –Psalm 42:1

You Alone are God

If you believe in Jesus, you can call out to Jesus, in His name. – TWEET IT

Your Will be Done

Lord, thank You for being my deliverer.
