FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 1:1c: Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

Separated to the gospel of God. Separated by an immediate direction of the Spirit. Separated by a dedication of himself to this work. He was an entirely devoted to the gospel of God, the gospel which has God for its author, whose origin is divine. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. Acts 20:24

Jesus, thank You for separating me from the world and worldliness. Thank You for changing my heart. No more selfish passions. Now I want to pursue the heart of Jesus for this lost world. Thank You for giving me Your great news of the gospel. You did for me what I could never do for myself. You died for me, so I could live with You. Now I want to live for You. Please keep my eyes on You. Help me run my race with joy. May I give out Your gospel, in faith, with every opportunity that You provide.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

When you have the gospel truth, you have all the truth you need. – TWEET IT

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake. 1 Thessalonians 1:5

Dear Father, thank You for getting Your Word out to the world, in truth and in power, and in much assurance. And thanks for using me, to speak about You, in Jesus name. Amen
