Proverbs 31:25: Strength and honor are her clothing; She shall rejoice in time to come.

Insight

Clothing is here referred to metaphorically to indicate that her appearance is one of strength and dignity. She is no shameful weakling. Also she can laugh at the future, that is, face it with confidence. 1

Application

Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, which, having no captain, overseer or ruler, provides her supplies in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest. Proverbs 6:6–8

God uses His creation to teach us many lessons of life. The ant is a great example. Our Proverbs 31 Woman seems to emulate the diligence of the ant. She took the initiative to prepare for the future. Her action and attitude demonstrates to all of us about her strength and dignity. Our hidden qualities are displayed through our life choices. How is strength and dignity found in your life? Are these the garments that define your character? Do you wear these qualities well?

Motivation

I put on righteousness, and it clothed me; My justice was like a robe and a turban. Job 29:14

Without ever saying one word, a mannequin can look beautiful on the outside. – TWEET IT

Prayer

Father, thank You for the beauty You place in the heart and soul of a person yielded to You.
