Jesus is Essential

John 6:65–66: And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.” From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more.

From this we see that we cannot retreat one step without falling into the possibility of a treacherous denial. 1

Walking with Jesus

Let this verse below guide the new decisions that you need to start making.

Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. Psalm 1:1–3

We are either walking towards Christ, or away from Christ.

Praying

Lord, please teach me how to walk closer with You.
