Godly Encouragement for Daily Living

A PROMISE

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord,
beseech you to walk worthy of the calling
with which you were called,
with all lowliness and gentleness,
with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,
endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit
in the bond of peace.
Ephesians 4:1–3

A Prayer

Heavenly Father…
Thank You for the joy of being called Your servant.
You set me free from the prison of sin and death.
You set me free to serve You…
…and no longer my selfish desires.
You called me to leave my worldly walk.
You have urged me to walk worthy of my new calling in Christ.
Your grace is forging a new work in me.
You are teaching me about humility and gentleness.
Your are teaching me about patience and love.
Your are teaching about the unity of the Spirit.
You are teaching me about living peaceable with one another.
Thank You for all the grace that You keep bestowing upon me.
In Jesus Name. Amen.
