Godly Encouragement for Daily Living

A PROMISE

For by grace you have been saved through faith,
and that not of yourselves;
it is the gift of God, not of works,
lest anyone should boast.
For we are His workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand
that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:8–10

A Prayer

Heavenly Father…
Thank You for Your saving grace.
It is all You, and none of me.
You saved me. You redeemed me. You gave me an eternal gift.
My boasting is in Your finished work of the Cross.
All glory and praise is for You.
Your satisfying work saved me.
My work of love is to serve You.
Not to gain anything from You.
But to live in daily fellowship with You.
I am Your workman.
Wherever and whenever…I am all Yours.
In Jesus Name. Amen.
