Godly Encouragement for Daily Living

A PROMISE

For He says to Moses,
“I will have mercy
on whomever I will have mercy,
and I will have compassion
on whomever I will have compassion.”
So then it is not of him who wills,
nor of him who runs,
but of God who shows mercy.
Romans 9:15–16

A Prayer

Heavenly Father…
Thank You for Your continual mercy.
For You have been so merciful to me.
Thank You for Your continual compassion.
For you have been so compassionate to me.
I can not save myself.
I can not heal myself.
I can not change myself.
I can not strengthen myself.
But God…who is rich in mercy and compassion…
Has done all that for me.
In Jesus Name. Amen.
