Psalm 146:8: The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; the Lord raises those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous.v

Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms

Jehovah consoles the bereaved, cheers the defeated, solaces the despondent, comforts the despairing. Let those who are bowed to the ground appeal to him, and he will speedily upraise them. He gives to them the love of content, communion, and reward. Loved ones, you must never pause from his praise whose infinite love has made you what you are! 1

Living the Transformed Life

“The Lord upholds all who fall, And raises up all who are bowed down.” Psalm 145:14

  • Never pause your praise, for He is your light and your ever-present help. – “I will make crooked places straight. I will not forsake them.” Isaiah 42:16
  • Never pause your praise, for He has forgiven all your sins and has a place in heaven for you. – “He will turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance” Acts 26:18
  • Never pause your praise, for He continues to feed you with His word. – “He loves the people; They sit down at Your feet; Everyone receives Your words.” Deu 33:3

Never pause giving praise, for He never pauses giving grace.

Praise and Prayer

Thank You Father for your never ending love and grace upon me. Dear Jesus, teach me to press on in faith, especially when I am weary and faithless.
