Psalm 139:13: For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.

Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms

Thou art the owner of my inmost parts and passions: not the indweller and observer only, but the acknowledged Lord and possessor of my most secret self. Thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. There I lay hidden—covered by thee. Before I could know thee, or anything else, thou hadst a care for me, and didst hide me away as a treasure till thou didst see fit to bring me to the light. 1

Living the Transformed Life

By You I have been upheld from birth; You are He who took me out of my mother’s womb. My praise shall be continually of You. Psalm 71:6

  • He who created you, will always be there for you. – Thus says the Lord who made you and formed you from the womb, who will help you. Isaiah 44:2
  • He who created you, will always supply all the grace your need to fulfill His purposes in your life. – But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace. Galatians 1:15
  • He who created you, will always provide His Spirit to minister to your spirit. – You have granted me life and favor, and Your care has preserved my spirit. Job 10:12

He is your Creator and He is so much more.

Praise and Prayer

Thank You, Father, for making me, redeeming me, and always being with me. Dear Jesus, thank You for revealing that we are originals, hand-made by You.
