Psalm 139:11–12: If I say, “Surely the darkness shall fall on me,” even the night shall be light about me; Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, but the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You.
Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms
Dense darkness may oppress me, but it cannot shut me out from thee, or thee from me. Thou art present with me whatever the hour, and being present thou discovers all that I think, or feel, or do. Even the night shall be light about me. Let us think of this if ever we are tempted to take ungodly liberties in the dark. 1
Living the Transformed Life
He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him. Daniel 2:22
- Fear God, if you a have a secret life in the darkness. For He is there to rescue you. – Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the Lord, and their works are in the dark; They say, “Who sees us?” and, “Who knows us?” Isaiah 29:15
- Fear God, if you are hiding in the shadows. For He is there to rescue you. – He uncovers deep things out of darkness, And brings the shadow of death to light. Job 12:22
- Fear God, if you think no one really knows. For He is there to rescue you. – And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:13
He knows, what you do not know about yourself, and He wants to help you.

Thank You, Father, for wanting to rescue me and not reject me. Dear Jesus, please teach me to flee from the darkness and to run into Your light
