1 John 2:25: And this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life.

The only kind of life that God offers is eternal life. If you lose it tomorrow or next week or next year, it isn’t eternal life that you have. It is some other kind of life, but not eternal life. 1

Loving Him

When does eternal life begin? It begins the day we are born again. That is because we have passed from death to life. From eternal death to eternal life. We all will live eternally, but there are two destinations. With God or away from God. Take time right now and read John 5:24. Can you find the three big blessing for believers?

And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:11–12

Loving Others

An abiding believer always rejoices over the saving grace of God, because they believe God’s promises. – TWEET IT

Changing Me

Lord, thank You that Your salvation is never a matter of uncertainly, because it is based entirely upon Your certain work of redemption on the cross, and Your undeniable resurrection thereafter.
