Jesus and His Word
The works of Christ are wrought by the Holy Spirit. We overcome by faith and not by effort. “I give power over the nations” was explained by Paul when he wrote to the Corinthian believers: “Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? (1 Corinthians 6:2). 1
Jesus and His Ways
- Jesus, thank You for the grace to be an overcomer and for giving me a gracious place in Your coming kingdom. – “But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.” Daniel 7:18
- Jesus, thank You for the grace to serve You now and for the endless grace to serve You in the coming kingdom. – “Then the kingdom and dominion, And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.” Daniel 7:27
- Jesus, thank You for the abundant grace to feast upon Your word everyday and the empowering grace of Your Holy Spirit to obey Your word. – “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” Revelation 22:7
