A PROMISE
Above all, taking the shield of faith
with which you will be able to quench
all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
And take the helmet of salvation,
and the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God;
praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit,
being watchful to this end with all perseverance
and supplication for all the saints.

A Prayer
Heavenly Father…
Thank You for giving me everything I need for every battle.
Thank You for blessing me with Your mighty shield of faith.
The wicked one and the wickedness of this world…
…are in direct opposition to You and Your Word.
The battle is on…but the fiery lies and deceit and trickery…
…can not penetrate Your shield of faith.
Your Word is truth. Your Word keeps my feet on solid ground.
Teach me to read, watch, yield, and pray.
Teach me never to quit.
Teach me to always press forward in faith.
