John 15:3: You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
The purging is accomplished by the Word of God. The cleansing power of the Word of God is a wonderful thing. We hear so much today about modern wash–day miracles, but I’ve never found them to be as miraculous as the claims made for them. The only true wash–day miracle is the cleansing power of the Word of God. We were born again by the Word of God, washed from our sins. Then in our walk down here we get dirty and need the Word of God to cleanse us continually. That is one reason to study the Bible—to be cleansed. 1
Your Word is Truth
Hiding God’s Word in your heart can keep you from sinning. So how much of God’s Word have you hidden in your heart? The Bible says that the Holy Spirit of God will take that hidden Word in your heart and light your path in the darkness and open your eyes to the deceptive worldly traps. Will you make His cleansing work a part of your daily life? Will you purpose, by the grace of God, to taken in more of His Word each day?
Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart. –1 Peter 1:22
You Alone are God
His Word is the only cleansing Word you need to believe for time and eternity. – TWEET IT

Lord, thank You for washing me clean. I repented and You said I was forgiven.
