FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 6:4: Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

The resurrection of Jesus was not just a resuscitation; it was a new form of life. In the same way the spiritual lives of believers in Jesus have a new, fresh quality. Also, a believer’s identification with Jesus Christ in His resurrection, besides being the start of new spiritual life now, is also the guarantee of physical resurrection. This work of God at salvation, separates believers from sin’s power and gives us a new quality of life—this is the basis of the Holy Spirit’s continuing work in sanctification. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. Colossians 3:1–3

Teach me to take my eyes off myself, and to put them upon You. To look upon Your wondrous cross. To look upon Your glorious resurrection. To look at You, and not at my circumstances. To believe that my life is truly hidden in You. In Your death, burial, and resurrection. Not in the demands of life, or other peoples expectations. It is time to live the new life in Christ, and to make a complete departure from the old, self-centered me.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

To be hidden in Him is the most glorious place, for all the world to see. – TWEET IT

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

He who abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. 1 John 2:6

Dear Father, thank You for giving me a new life and a new walk, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
