FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 6:13–14: And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

This is a presentation of yourself for service. Yield is the same word, and it means “to present yourself.” The idea of the surrendered life or the yielded life sounds colorless to so many people. We talk about surrendering and at the same time living the victorious life, and they seem to be a contradiction of terms. I like the word present much better—“Neither present ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin.” The reason most of us get into trouble is because we yield ourselves to the old nature. By the power of the Spirit, we can yield ourselves to do God’s will. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:20

The right presentation is a heart of praise and a heart of surrender. A life of rejoicing and a life of yielding. A voice declaring His greatness and a voice of expressing our brokenness. His instrument for His glory, all by His grace, from this day forward.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

The price that He paid covered all my past, present, and future sins. – TWEET IT

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. 2 Corinthians 5:15

Dear Father, I thank You and praise You for loving me, for dying for me, and for living Your life through me…in Jesus’ name. Amen.
