FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 11:1: I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

If God has cast away His people, then how can the conversion of the Apostle Paul be explained? The fact that his conversion is presented three times in the Book of Acts is significant (Acts 9, 22, 26). Certainly Dr. Luke did not write these chapters and repeat the story just to exalt Paul. No, they were written to show Paul’s conversion as an illustration of the future conversion of the nation of Israel. Paul called himself “one born out of due time” (1 Cor. 15:8). In 1 Timothy 1:16 he stated that God saved him “that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all long-suffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on Him to life everlasting.” 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? So am I. 2 Corinthians 11:22

No matter who you are or where you are from, God died for you, and is drawing you to Himself. Your sin and rebellion can be forgiven. God demonstrated His love towards you when you were loveless towards Him. Will His love humble you and draw you under the wings of His Lordship? Will you live for Him?

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

God will never forsake you, and God will never forsake Israel, because God is a covenant maker and a covenant keeper. – TWEET IT

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

For the Lord will not cast off His people, nor will He forsake His inheritance. Psalm 94:14

Dear Father, my heart finds its rest, in Your forever faithfulness…in Jesus’ name. Amen.
