FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 2:12–13: For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified.)

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

God’s judgment is so perfect that he takes into account one’s moral perception in rendering judgment. To be sure, no one escapes condemnation. All fall short. None measure up to their own moral perceptions of right or wrong, let alone God’s Law. No one will ever be able to rise before God and declare that he has been unfair. His judgment is so precise that he takes into account the delicate moral perceptions of each person. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. John 15:10

Jesus, I want to be known as Your obedient servant who relates to you, not according to Your law, but according to Your great love. Please judge me when I sin, and please draw me back to yourself. I want to have a clean and clear conscience before You.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

The One who saves is also the One who judges. – TWEET IT

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son. Romans 8:3

Dear Father, I am praising You right now. I am eternally grateful for taking the judgment of my sin, and for imparting Your saving righteous to me. I am so in love with You…in Jesus’ name. Amen.
