FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 3:24: Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

One of His absolute attributes is love: “God is love” (1 John 4:8). When God relates that love to you and me, it becomes grace and mercy. God in His mercy does not give us what we do deserve, and God in grace gives us what we do not deserve. “Freely” is translated in John 15:25 as “without a cause.” We are justified without a cause! There is no cause in us that would merit the salvation of God! It is all of grace! 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

Such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:11

Jesus, thank You for pulling me out of the darkness, and for bringing me into Your marvelous light. You not only brought me into the light, You also washed away all my sins. I could never wash away the stain of guilt and shame. All my efforts only frustrated me spiritually. It was You who justified me. Justification is a one time event that happened in a moment of time, but the blessing of Your justification towards me will last for all eternity. Thank You Jesus!

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

He gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. Titus 2:14 (NKJV)

Dear Father, help me to mediate on the richness found in the following words: Justified, Grace, Redeemed, and Freely. Make me a zealous servant…in Jesus’ name. Amen.
