FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 2:3: And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

Robert Govett has called attention to the four ways of escape which are open to the man who breaks human laws: 1. His offense will not be discovered. 2. He may escape beyond the jurisdiction of the court. 3. After arrest, there may be some legal technicality which will cause a breakdown of the legal procedure. 4. After conviction, he may escape from prison and stay under cover. None of these avenues of escape are open to man in regard to divine judgment. Your offenses will be discovered. You cannot go beyond God’s jurisdiction. There will be no legal technicality. You will never be able to escape from prison. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? Matthew 23:33

Jesus, thank You for confirming the fact that all have sinned and have fallen short of God’s requirement of sinless perfection to gain heaven. There was no escape for me. I sinned willfully and often and deserved to be judge by the Righteous Judge. But because of His great love, the Righteous Judge took my death sentence. He fulfilled all the demands of the law only behalf. He died so I could life. He paid the full price for my sin, so I could receive God’s full pardon for all eternity. He rescued me!

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

If you received His pardon, you will escape the coming judgement.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation. Hebrews 2:3

Dear Father, thank You for saving me from hell, and saving me for heaven…in Jesus Name. Amen.
