FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 9:6–7: But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.”

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

Now Paul is going to make a distinction between the natural offspring of Jacob and the spiritual offspring. Always there has been a remnant, and that remnant, whether natural or not natural, has been a spiritual offspring. This is a distinction within the nation Israel, and he is not including Gentiles here at all. The failure was not God’s; but the people had failed. God’s promises were unconditional. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

It is not a matter of what you may think, or how you may feel, or what your recent experience has been. What is of most importance is what God has said in His Word. Do you trust Him and His Word? Do you believe Him and His unconditional promises for you? Do you live in the awesome presence of His abiding love for you?

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

In a day of great uncertainty, there is the Certain One, and His ways are unchanging.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2

Dear Father, I want to see You. In Jesus Name. Amen.
