FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 1:16: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

Paul was always ready. He was not ashamed. Why? Because the gospel indeed has incredible power. “Gospel” means “good news.” Paul is not ashamed of this Good News because it is the dynamic, unharness-able power of God to effect salvation and all its temporal and eternal benefits for everyone who believes. We must never be ashamed! The wonder is that God is not ashamed of us. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:38

Jesus, thank You for awaking my soul by Your marvelous saving grace, through Your powerful gospel truth. Thank You for saving me from hell, and for saving me daily from pursuing the pleasures of this world. May my passion be for purity and for the unashamed proclamation of Your salvation, by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

It is His Word that is powerful, not His vessels of clay.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have declared Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great assembly. Psalm 40:10

Dear Father, may I never be ashamed of speaking about You to my family, friends, and foreigners. May I make You known in every situation. May I make You known to every soul. May I always proclaim Your salvation to every generation…in Jesus name. Amen.
