FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 10:4: For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

Instead of letting the Law bring them to Christ, they worshiped their Law and rejected their Savior. The Law was a signpost, pointing the way. But it could never take them to their destination. The Law cannot give righteousness; it only leads the sinner to the Savior who can give righteousness. Christ is “the end of the Law” in the sense that through His death and resurrection, He has terminated the ministry of the Law for those who believe. The righteousness of the Law is being fulfilled in the life of the believer through the power of the Spirit. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Galatians 3:24

Today can be a day of liberation for you. Perhaps you have been trying to live under the demands of the law. Nice try. You can never do it. No one can. The law is a teacher and every test that the teacher gives, you will fail at. If you could keep all the demands of the law, then Jesus would never need to go to the cross. The truth is this: the law is there to reveal that you are lawbreakers. You need a Savior. The mission of the law is fulfilled when a sinner kneels before the cross and receives forgiveness for every sin.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

Jesus fulfilled everything that you had no power to fulfill under the law.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Romans 6:14

Dear Father, I pray for the outpouring of Your limitless grace upon all who believe, and upon all You are calling to believe. Do it today, in Jesus Name. Amen.
