FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God
Romans 2:18–20: The Jews know His will, and approve the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law, and are confident that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, having the form of knowledge and truth in the law.
FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God
The five personal privileges of the Jew are what he did: (1) A guide to the blind; (2) a light for them that are in darkness; (3) a corrector of the thoughtless or immature; (4) a teacher of babes or proselytes; and (5) having in the Law the outward form of knowledge and truth. 1
FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God
And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:13
Jesus, it is such a blessing to serve You. You have given me so much to be thankful for. There are so many advantages for being a follower of Christ. But there is also the blinding danger of pride. Keep my heart and mind and motive pure before you. To whom much is given, much is required. May I live with a Holy fear before You.
FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God
To have a Holy fear, allows you to live fully in the freedom of His holy power.
FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God
Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! (Psalm 96:10)
Dear Father, you have transformed me by Your grace, and I will worship You as a vessel for Your holy honor…in Jesus Name. Amen.
