FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 5:15: But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

Our rescue came through a second and far greater Adam. The only similarity between them was that what they did affected countless numbers of the human race. The sin of Adam brought death—a decaying degenerative force. But grace brought a far more dynamic power—life. It not only did away with death, but restored what had been destroyed. Moreover, “the trespass of Adam brought death once, the sacrifice and death of Jesus brings life a thousand times.” 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities. Isaiah 53:11

Jesus, thank You for leaving the pure and sinless glory of heaven to come to this polluted and sin-filled earth. You rescued mankind from the demands of sin. It was Your life for my death. Your gift of grace for all my graceless living. You took all my iniquities upon Yourself, and You placed all Your eternal righteousness upon me. The greater Adam gave me the greatest gift. I will praise You now and for all eternity.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

It was the grace of the Greater Adam that reconciled the guilt from the lesser Adam.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. 1 John 2:2

Dear Father, please open the eyes of lost sinners that I know…in Jesus Name. Amen.
