FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 5:16: And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

Adam’s sin brought judgment and condemnation; but Christ’s work on the cross brings justification. When Adam sinned, he was declared unrighteous and condemned. When a sinner trusts Christ, he is justified—declared righteous in Christ. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18

Jesus, thank You for being the Blessed Gift that justifies the condemned. In Adam, we had no hope beyond the grave. But In Christ, we have the resurrected hope beyond the grave. He offers the free gift of eternal life to all those who believe in His justifying work on the Cross. He is the only cure for a scarlet soul. Jesus, please forgive me and please make my soul as white as freshly fallen snow.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

There is only one free gift that will set you free for all eternity.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” Luke 7:47

Dear Father, thank You for forgiving me of all my wicked sins. You forgave all my rebellion and godless living. You forgave so much. Please teach me to love You and others with the full measure of my complete forgiveness…in Jesus Name. Amen.
