FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 5:11: And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

We joy in God! I think this is one of the most wonderful statements we have in Scripture. It means that right now, wherever you are, whatever your problems are, my friend, you can joy, rejoice, in God. Just think of it! You can rejoice that He lives and that He is who He is. You can rejoice because He has provided a salvation for us and is willing to save us sinners and bring us into His presence someday. He has worked out a plan to save us because of His love for us. Isn’t that enough to make you rejoice? 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory. 1 Peter 1:8

Jesus, thank You for teaching us how to rejoice. We do not rejoice because something bad has happened. That would be very foolish. Instead, we rejoice because when bad things do happen, the goodness of God is always present. He was there with His saving grace when we were at our worst. No matter how difficult things may be at this very moment, He will give you a reason to rejoice. He will never disappoint you. He will take you through every storm. Rest and rejoice in His Lordship over your life.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

A reconciling love is a rejoicing love.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. John 1:12

Dear Father, thank You for making Your victory our victory…in Jesus Name. Amen.
