FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God
Romans 3:29–31: Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.
FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God
When it comes to salvation, boasting is unthinkable. Everything is of God. This is a call for humility, and humility paves the way for the infinite grace of God to deluge our bankrupt human hearts and bring us life. This is where all who are without Christ must begin. They must put down their pride and boasting and come with empty hands that they might receive this radical, true righteousness. Since there is only one God, salvation is the same for everyone. When we get to heaven some of us will be surprised at who is there. And some people will be surprised when they see us there! 1
FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God
I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.” Galatians 2:21
Jesus, thank You for Your fountain of grace that pours continually over my needy soul. You are the true and living God who saved me and keeps me through every trial on this journey of life. It was not my obedience to the law that saved me. It was You. It was Your victory upon the Cross. Your death became personal to me. You saved me, and You keep saving me, day after day. You always strengthen me to live for Your glory.
FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God
The law could never accomplish what He accomplished on the Cross.
FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God
You are complete in Him. Colossians 2:10
