FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God
Romans 10:17: So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Christ).
FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God
Since the phrase from hearing the message indicates the means which leads to the result of having faith, this relation may be expressed in some languages as “by hearing the message, people come to have faith.” The phrase “word of Christ” means either “preaching about Christ” or “the message about Christ.” Preaching Christ is the means by which the message comes. This relation may be indicated in some languages as “someone preaches about Christ and the people hear the message.” 1
FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God
For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe. 1 Thessalonians 2:13
Will you be known as someone who receives the word of God before your day begins? Will you be known as someone who lives by the word of God as your day continues? And will you be known as someone who keeps the word of God to your finish-line of life?
FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God
Faith is all about having a surrendered life of complete trust in Him, and His Word.
FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God
But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” Luke 11:28
Dear Father, thank You for providing Your written word that speaks to me at any hour, of everyday. In Jesus Name. Amen.
