FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 3:27–28: Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

The doctrine of justification by faith is not against the Law, because it establishes the Law. God obeyed His own Law in working out the plan of salvation. Jesus in His life and death completely fulfilled the demands of the Law. God does not have two ways of salvation, one for the Jews and one for the Gentiles; for He is one God. He is consistent with His own nature and His own Law. When a believing sinner is justified by faith, he cannot boast of his faith, but he can boast in a wonderful Savior. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law. Galatians 2:16

Jesus, thank You for Your patient love towards me. You saw me striving in the flesh to make myself good enough for You. You saw me bringing to You the works I did, so that I might gain Your approval and acceptance. You never rebuked my foolish thinking. Instead You poured out Your saving and unconditional love at just the right time. When I was overwhelmingly frustrated with my self-serving living and turned to You for forgiveness…You forgave me and loving adopted me as Your son.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

You justified me, releasing me from my eternal jail, into my heavenly home.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God. Romans 5:1

Dear Father, because of Your work in me, I can work for You…in Jesus Name. Amen.
