FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

The next five names mentioned together (v. 14) evidently had something in common, perhaps as leaders of another house church. This may be indicated by the reference to the brothers with them. They are all common names, particularly among slaves. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

When you have more than one name listed, you have the makings for a team. Why is teamwork so important? What steps are you taking to build a team? Start with your marriage, then your family, then your fellowship, then your workplace. How well do you greet your fellow Christians with unconditional love? That is the first ingredient to building a team.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

You have to build a team before you can experience teamwork.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

Lord, help me to pray more often for those that I serve with.
