FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 5:5: Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

It is a beautiful thing to experience God’s peace and grace to the extent that we exult in tribulations as well as in the hope of glory. But how do we know this joy will not someday dissolve into delusion or that it is not a pipe dream now? The answer is, these great benefits are grounded in God’s unbounded love. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

We love Him because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19

Jesus, thank You for Your unconditional love. When I was very unloveable, You never stopped loving me. When my life was in turmoil, You shared Your loving peace with me. When I was reckless and harsh, you shared Your loving grace with me. When I was desperately without a future and a hope, You lovingly rescued me and poured Your Holy Spirit upon me. Thank You for all the hope. Thank You for never disappointing me. Thank You for the certainty of heaven through Your justifying love and peace. (Re-Read Romans 5:1-5)

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

When I was hopelessly without hope, You became all I hope I needed.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace. 2 Thessalonians 2:16

Dear Father, thank You for all the encouraging love, hope, and grace…in Jesus Name. Amen.
