FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God
Romans 11:12: Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness!
FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God
“World” here means mankind, not the physical world. Certainly the world has been enriched spiritually because of so many Gentiles coming to Christ. But even greater riches will be enjoyed by Gentiles after the conversion of Israel at the Lord’s return (cf. v. 26). Israel’s “fullness” suggests a large-scale conversion (cf. “full number [lit., ‘fullness’] of the Gentiles,” v. 25). 1
FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God
To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27
Will you meditate today on how greatly you are loved by Jesus. He stayed with you, when the world rejected you. When you were hopeless, He gave you hope. When you needed money, He provided for all your needs in a very supernatural way. When you were uncertain, He became your confidence. Will you rejoice now over the certainty of your salvation and your future home in glory.
FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God
Even though you are free to reject God, He is still free to keep reaching out to you with His lovingkindness.
FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God
And that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, Romans 9:23
Dear Father, thank You for graciously pouring out upon me the richness of Your mercy and the abundance of Your unconditional love. Amen.
