FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God
Romans 3:5–6: But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unjust who inflicts wrath? (I speak as a man.) Certainly not! For then how will God judge the world?
FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God
The apostle then pursued his argument with additional questions. Could they conclude that God’s wrath on Jews is therefore unjust? Paul immediately interjected, I am using a human argument, and responded with the answer, Certainly not! If that were the case, that God were unfair in judging unfaithful Jews, then He would be barred from judging the world. And of course, that could not be. So, since God will judge the world, He will not be unfair in extending His wrath on guilty Jews. 1
FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God
Then they asked Him, saying, “Teacher, we know that You say and teach rightly, and You do not show personal favoritism, but teach the way of God in truth. Luke 20:21
Jesus, thank You for never showing favoritism to any of Your children. Instead, You supply grace, mercy, love, wisdom, and understanding. Thank You for teaching the way and leading the way into all truth. You always judge in righteousness, because You are the Righteous Judge and King.
FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God
Sowing and reaping reflects a principle of God about judging all people without one drop of partiality.
FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God
They sing the song of Moses: “Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints! Revelation 15:3 (NKJV)
Dear Father, I will praise You all day, for You are just and true…in Jesus Name. Amen.
