FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 3:21–23: But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

God gave His Law to the Jews, not to the Gentiles; but the Good News of salvation through Christ is offered to all men. All men need to be saved. There is no difference between the Jew and the Gentile when it comes to condemnation. “All have sinned, and are coming short of the glory of God” (literal translation). God declared all men guilty so that He might offer to all men His free gift of salvation. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. Galatians 3:22

Jesus, thank You for the blessed victory You provided on the cross. The world was under the demands of the law, and we were all headed to a godless eternity. Then You came to my rescue. Your righteousness was imparted to my heavenly account when I repented and sought Your forgiveness for all my sin. The law made me a better sinner. But your grace transformed this sinner into Your servant. Thank You, Jesus!

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

The law made me a desperate sinner seeking a forgiving Savior.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

And being found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ. Philippians 3:9

Dear Father, praising You for declaring me eternally righteous…in Jesus Name. Amen.
