FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 1:5–6: Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name, among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

Obedience to the faith is very important to God. God saves us by faith, not by works; but after He has saved us, He wants to talk to us about our works, about our obedience to Him. Saving faith makes you obedient to Jesus Christ. By the way, have you ever considered that salt is composed of sodium and chloride, and each taken by itself would poison you? However, when they are combined, they form a very useful ingredient. Believing and doing go together, to make us the salt of the earth. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

“And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.” Hebrews 5:9

Jesus, thank You for being the Author of eternal salvation. You accomplished a perfect and complete work on the cross just for me. You are my personal Lord and Savior. I want to demonstrate my love for You by knowing Your word and obeying Your word. Teach me and train me and send me on whatever assignment that You can trust me with. May my obedience bring salt and light to this world and give Your glory.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

A believing faith, is an obeying faith.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

He saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace. 2 Timothy 1:9

Dear Father, I am all Yours. You saved me from hell. You saved me for heaven. All by Your grace. All for Your purposes. Make me holy for You…in Jesus name. Amen.
