FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 11:16: For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

The reference here is to Numbers 15:17–21. The first part of the dough was to be offered up to God as a symbol that the entire lump belonged to Him. The same idea was involved in the Feast of Firstfruits, when the priest offered a sheaf to the Lord as a token that the entire harvest was His. The basic idea is that when God accepts the part He sanctifies the whole. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1

Without the blessing of the Lord upon our life and labor, we are helpless and hopeless. May we bring an offering our life to Him, in holiness and humility. Be that living sacrifice today. Go now before His throne of grace and receive His mercy.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

When you offer yourself to Him, may it be with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. James 1:18

Dear Father, I yield to Your Lordship. Make me fruitful for Your glory, in Jesus Name. Amen.
