FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 16:11: Greet Herodion, my countryman. Greet those who are of the household of Narcissus who are in the Lord.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

Herodian was evidently a Jew, as Paul calls him a fellow countryman. The name suggests the Herod family. He may have been a slave who adopted the name of the family to which he belonged. Narcissus is the name of a well–known freedman put to death by Agrippina. The one whose name appears here was probably a slave who formerly belonged to him and had taken his name. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

No matter how difficult your childhood was, God wants to officially adopt you today. He wants you to be a part of His family forever. Read John 1:12-13 to experience this adoption. Are you a team player or an individual player? Why is being a team player more difficult? Why do you think that a team victory may be a greater celebration than an individual victory? Would you consider yourself a team player in the Body of Christ?

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

Your body is composed of many members all functioning in harmony to allow for the greatest coordination. This is exactly the way the Body of Christ should be.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

Lord, help me to never isolate myself from the Body of Christ.
