FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God
Romans 3:3–4: For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect? Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written: “That You may be justified in Your words, And may overcome when You are judged.”
FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God
The faithfulness of God is true and cannot be changed. How important that is! John says, “He that believes on the Son of God has the witness in himself: he that believes not God has made him a liar; because he believes not the record that God gave of his Son” (1 John 5:10). How bad is it not to believe that God gave His Son to die for you? You make God a liar. That’s what you do when you reject His Son. 1
FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God
Paul, a bondservant of God and apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect and acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness, in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began. Titus 1:1–2
Jesus, thank You for Your saving grace and the faith to believe in You as my faithful Savior and Lord. Without faith it is impossible to please You. I thank You for always being there for me in every situation of every day. Thank You for never forsaking me, even when I am weak in faith. Your faithfulness always prevails. Thank You for the witness of Your life in me. You are my way, my truth, and my life. Always and forever.
FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God
Saving faith is also trusting faith.
FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God
And the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other. 2 Thessalonians 1:3
Dear Father, thank You for Your love in me, to love others…in Jesus Name. Amen.
