Romans 14:21: It is good neither to eat meat nor drink wine nor do anything by which your brother stumbles or is offended or is made weak.

At times one’s Christian liberty must be relinquished for the sake of others. 1

Application

  • Read 1 Corinthians 6:12 and 10:23 right now.
  • Before using your Christian liberty ask yourself: will I be brought under the power of some activity I chose to do, is it helpful to my Christian walk, and will it build others up spiritually?

Prayer

Lord, please awaken my soul to the powers of evil influences that want to destroy my walk with You.
