Romans 11:13–15: For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them. For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?
I understand the satisfaction Paul felt in doing what God had called him to do. God has a place for you, my friend. He may want you to get busy and teach a Sunday school class, do personal work, or reach people through a business enterprise. Or He may want you to support another who is really getting out the Word of God. Whatever it is, you will experience great satisfaction in doing what you are confident God has called you to do. 1
Application
- What’s one gift that God has given to you, that brings you the greatest joy as you serve Him?
- What’s one example in your life of how you “sacrificed” something for someone else, hoping that they would see God in you?
Prayer
Lord, teach me how to live a life that would glorify You.
