Psalm 138:2: I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.

Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms

Heaven and earth will pass away, but the divine Word will not pass away. It is his Word which creates, sustains, quickens, enlightens, and comforts. As a word of command it is supreme; and in the person of the incarnate Word it is set above all the works of God’s hands. 1

Living the Transformed Life

In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me? Psalm 56:4

  • Will you trust the Word of God to work mightily, if you are willing to sow it into the life of another? So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11
  • Will you welcome, receive, believe, and obey His Word? When you received the word of God, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe. 1 Thessalonians 2:13
  • Will you devote a greater commitment of time each day to reading and meditating upon the eternal Word of God? Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. Matthew 24:35

Praise and Prayer

Thank You, Father, for giving us Your holy Word for life and godly living. Dear Jesus, please forgive me for failing to be with You, and Your Word.
